The Iraqi Council of Representatives held its second session today, Monday, presided over by Speaker of the Council Haibat al-Halbousi.

According to the Council’s media department, “Speaker of the Council of Representatives, Haibat al-Halbousi, opened session number (2) of the first legislative term of the first legislative year in the sixth electoral cycle.”

As per the announced agenda, the Council is set to vote on its internal regulations and form committees responsible for selecting members of the parliamentary committees.
