The World Food Program announced, "We have launched an emergency operation to provide food assistance to one million people affected by the conflict in Lebanon."
It noted that "Lebanon is on the brink of collapse and cannot withstand another war."
Yesterday, the Coordinator of the Government Emergency Committee and Minister of Environment in the caretaker government, Nasser Yassin, stated that approximately one million Lebanese have been displaced due to the intensive Israeli aerial aggression, including hundreds of thousands since Friday, according to a statement to Reuters.
