Prime Minister Mohammed Shia' Al-Sudani has approved the findings of the investigative committee regarding the tragic fire in Kut City. The results included referring the governor of Wasit—who also serves as the head of the Civil Defense Committee in the province—and the members of that committee to a legal investigation in order to determine accountability and uncover the reasons behind the negligence.
