On Sunday, Prime Minister Mohammed Shiaa Al-Sudani conducted a phone call with Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati.
During the call, he extended Iraq's condolences, on behalf of both the government and the people, for the martyrdom of Hezbollah Secretary-General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah and his companions during the unjust Zionist aggression that targeted Beirut.
The Prime Minister reiterated Iraq's steadfast and principled position in supporting Lebanon and standing by it, emphasizing Iraq's continued provision of all necessary assistance to the brotherly Lebanese people. He stressed the importance of coordinating Arab and Islamic efforts to stop the ongoing Zionist attacks that threaten the security and stability of the region.
