On Saturday, the judge of the Supreme Judicial Council Faik Zidan affirmed that the assassination of Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, the leader of Hezbollah, represents a crime against humanity and nations.
, Zidan said, "With deep sorrow and grief, we received the news of the martyrdom of the Secretary-General of Hezbollah, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, who ascended to his Lord after an attack by the cowardly occupying entity."
He added, "The crime of assassinating Sayyed Nasrallah is a crime against humanity and nations. He has always been a beacon of resistance and struggle against the oppressive occupier. With his passing, the field of jihad, resistance, and courageous, sincere words has lost a knight among its great champions. We feel the enormity of this loss and extend our condolences to the Islamic nation and the brotherly Lebanese people."
