"Salah Aboush Khadr has officially taken on his duties as the General Director of Syriac Studies on Sunday, September 22, 2024. Following this, he met with the staff of the Syriac Studies Directorate at the directorate's office in Baghdad, in the presence of Ms. Anne Andrawus Matti, the Deputy General Director, along with department managers, section heads, and other staff members.

During the meeting, the staff congratulated Aboush on his new position as General Director of Syriac Studies, wishing him success and prosperity in his responsibilities.

For his part, the General Director appreciated the staff's initiative in welcoming him and fostering a spirit of brotherhood and cooperation."
