"The Jordanian government has submitted its resignation as a preliminary step for forming a new government following the conclusion of the electoral process for Jordan's 20th Parliament. Voter turnout was 32 percent, and the results led to a victory for the Islamists.
Among the prominent winners was the Islamic Action Front Party (Muslim Brotherhood), which secured 31 seats, including 3 for candidates who are not party members. Meanwhile, the Al-Wefaq Party won 21 seats."
