Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi stated that President Masoud Bezhkishan's three-day visit to Iraq, which concluded yesterday, has opened new horizons for the two countries.

Araqchi, upon returning to Tehran from Basra—the last stop of the Iranian president—expressed his pleasure in accompanying Bezhkishan on the visit, describing it as extremely successful and praising Bezhkishan's impressive diplomacy.

He added that the remarkable public diplomacy of the president contributed to opening new avenues. Araqchi highlighted that during their three-day trip, they visited six Iraqi cities and noted that President Masoud Bezhkishan is the first Iranian president to visit Basra and the Kurdistan region, signing 14 expanded memorandums of understanding.
