The Industrial Bank issued a warning to the public on Thursday not to carry more cash than is allowed.


Iraqi News Agency (INA) obtained a statement from the bank's media office saying that "people can use official methods in transporting large funds," but "they should be cautious of carrying amounts exceeding the permissible limit."

"People ought to refrain from carrying cash in order to shield themselves from legal repercussions in the event that the authorized thresholds for the inflow and outflow of funds from Iraq are surpassed," he stated.
