Chief Justice Faiq Zaidan and US Ambassador to Iraq Alina Romanowski discussed on Thursday legal issues of common interest.  

The supreme judicial council’s media office said in a statement obtained by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that "the head of the Supreme Judicial Council, Faiq Zaidan, received on Thursday the US ambassador to Iraq, Alina Romanowski."

The statement added that "the meeting discussed legal issues of common interest."
