Iran affirmed its readiness to continue the war with the United States and Israel, stressing that it has “many surprises” prepared. On the ninth day of the operations, the Israeli army announced the start of large-scale strikes in Tehran and Isfahan, while the Revolutionary Guard responded by downing drones. Estimates indicate that the war could last a month or more.

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi posted on X, saying that nine days after what he called the “grave mistake” operation began, oil prices have doubled, and the prices of all essential goods are skyrocketing.

He added that Iran knows the United States is planning to target its oil and nuclear sites in hopes of containing a massive inflationary shock.

He declared that the country is “fully prepared,” saying, "We also have many surprises.”
