U.S. President-elect Donald Trump announced the appointment of three Hollywood celebrities as his special ambassadors in California.
In a statement, Trump said, "John Voight, Mel Gibson, and Sylvester Stallone will serve as special envoys with the aim of restoring Hollywood, which has lost much of its work to foreign countries over the past four years, to its former glory, making it bigger, better, and stronger than ever before.
Trump added that "these three highly talented individuals will be my eyes and ears, and I will implement what they propose, bringing back the golden age of Hollywood to the United States.
Sylvester Stallone has a strong relationship with Donald Trump, even describing Trump as the second George Washington, saying, "We are dealing with a legendary figure... No one in the world could have achieved what Trump has.
Stallone added, "When George Washington defended his country, he had no idea he would change the world. Without him, we couldn't imagine what the world would be like. In reality, we now have a second George Washington.
Mel Gibson (69 years old) has expressed his continuous support for former President Donald Trump, endorsing him in the 2016 and 2020 elections, as well as in the recent elections.
Jon Voight (86 years old) has long declared himself a fan of Trump, asserting that he is the greatest president since Abraham Lincoln. In 2019, he wrote on social media, "Don't be fooled by the political left because we are the people of this nation witnessing victory.
