President Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid called today, Friday, for diligent efforts to determine the fate of the kidnapped Yazidis.

In a tweet on the platform "X," the President said, "On the occasion of Eid al-Siyam for our Yazidi people, we extend our congratulations and best wishes to our Yazidi brothers and sisters in Iraq and around the world, wishing them a happy holiday filled with goodness, security, and safety.

He added, "On this occasion and every occasion, we renew our full support for the legitimate rights of the Yazidis and all Iraqis, and we work to resolve the issues they face, especially the return of all displaced people to their homes and the diligent efforts to determine the fate of the remaining kidnapped individuals.
