Judge Walid Ibrahim of the Central Investigation Court, specializing in drug cases in Rusafa, stated, according to the "Al-Qada" newspaper, that "151,711 kg of narcotic substances were seized after receiving information about the existence of a factory in Sulaymaniyah for manufacturing Captagon pills and crystal meth in the Kurdistan region, south of Lake Darbandikhan.
He pointed out that "this place was a tire factory as a main front, inside which Captagon pills and crystal meth were produced, with a tank of 4,000 liters of amphetamine, which is the main substance in the production of these pills. Information indicates that a shipment of 100 kg of these pills was passed to the Gulf countries, and after obtaining official approvals, the factory was raided.
