The High Security Committee for the Population Census announced on Monday the implementation of Alert Level C for Iraqi security and military units during the population census curfew scheduled for next Wednesday and Thursday.

The committee stated in a statement read by the spokesperson for the Ministry of Interior, Brigadier General Miqdad Miri, that "the curfew will start at midnight on November 19-20 at 12 AM and will continue until 12 AM on November 21-22, including the provinces of the Kurdistan Region.

He continued, "The movement of citizens, vehicles, and trains will be restricted when the curfew comes into effect between provinces, districts, and sub-districts, as well as between urban and rural areas and between sub-districts and districts, and vice versa, except for humanitarian cases, extreme necessity, and what is dictated by security, natural, and climatic conditions.
