Mr. Al-Sistani welcomes the presence of the United Nations in Iraq and wishes its mission success in carrying out its tasks.

Mr. Sistani points to the significant challenges that Iraq is currently facing and the suffering of its people on multiple fronts.

Mr. Al-Sistani: Iraqis, especially the aware elites, should learn lessons from the experiences they have gone through, exert their utmost efforts to overcome its failures, and work diligently towards achieving a better future for their country where everyone enjoys security, stability, progress, and prosperity.

 
Mr. Al-Sistani affirms that this cannot be achieved without preparing scientific and practical plans for managing the country based on the principles of competence and integrity in assuming positions of responsibility, preventing external interventions in all their forms, upholding the rule of law, restricting arms to the state, and combating corruption at all levels.

Mr. Al-Sistani expresses his deep sorrow for the ongoing tragedy in Lebanon and Gaza and his profound regret over the international community and its institutions' inability to impose effective solutions to stop it or, at the very least, to shield civilians from the brutal aggression practiced by the Zionist entity.
