Lebanon: Seven months of aid from Iraq is sufficient.


The Lebanese Minister of Economy, Amin Salam, confirmed today, Wednesday, that Iraq's aid is sufficient for seven months, noting that Iraq provided 200,000 tons of wheat to meet Lebanon's needs.

The Lebanese minister said in statements followed by Al-Mirbad that "the war has caused the displacement of more than 1.2 million citizens," explaining that there are significant losses in several sectors due to the Zionist aggression.

He added that "Iraq helped Lebanon to withstand," emphasizing the "necessity of working to stop the Zionist aggression.

He mentioned that "Iraq provided 200,000 tons of wheat to meet Lebanon's needs," noting that "Iraq always stands by Lebanon to help.

He indicated that "Iraq's aid is sufficient for seven months," pointing out that "Iraq continues to provide relief to Lebanon.
