The Iraqi government: Iraq strongly rejects any infringement on the status of the highest religious authority.

After the Zionist entity has deeply engaged in a war of genocide, committing blatant crimes against humanity, and openly practicing killing and aggression in Gaza and Lebanon, it is now the turn of its inciting and racist media to make a cheap attempt to tarnish the image of the supreme religious authority.

The Iraqi government strongly rejects any infringement on the status of our religious authority, which is held in esteem and respect by the entire Iraqi people, the Arab and Islamic worlds, and the international community. It warns of the dangers posed by these attempts, which are based on a racist ideological background and foundations that have persistently disregarded the sanctities of peoples, encouraging the expansion of aggression and posing a real threat to international peace and security.
The Zionist entity once again proves that it is nothing more than a criminal group that thrives on creating crises, fueling aggression and wars, and becoming increasingly isolated day by day. The popular and international stances around the world rejecting its behavior are nothing but a confirmation of this aggressive trend.
Based on these facts, we call on the Secretary-General of the United Nations and all international and global forums to reject and condemn anything that offends the feelings of Muslims around the world, as well as attempts to undermine influential and globally respected figures.
Iraq, both the government and the people, has made every effort to stop the war; however, the entity and its extremist government, along with the failure of the international community, have exacerbated the situation. Today, they are attempting to spread insults to cover up their blatant crimes, which we completely reject and consider serious aggression. This will not change Iraq's steadfast and principled position regarding all critical issues.
