On Monday, Hamas announced the death of its leader in Lebanon Fathi al-Sharif also known as "Abu Amin," along with several family members in an Israeli airstrike in the southern part of the country.
In a statement, Hamas described al-Sharif as "the leader of the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas in Lebanon and a member of the movement's leadership abroad."
The group stated that his wife, son, and daughter were also killed in the same strike, which reportedly occurred in the al-Buss refugee camp on the outskirts of the Lebanese city of Tyre.
