High-level sources announced today, Saturday, that the health condition of Oil Minister Hayyan Abdul Ghani has stabilized after he suffered a health setback during his official visit to the United States.

It was stated that "the Oil Minister has started to recover while being treated in a hospital in Texas," and it was confirmed that "the Iraqi consulate in Texas is monitoring his health condition."

Minister Hayyan Abdul Ghani had arrived in the United States last week on a visit aimed at attracting American companies to invest in the energy sector.
