Pope Francis urged Americans to choose the "lesser of two evils," criticizing former President Donald Trump for his immigration policies that led to the deportation of millions of migrants, and also Vice President Kamala Harris for her support of abortion rights.

The Pope described the lack of welcome for migrants as a "great sin," and compared abortion to "murder."

Referring to the upcoming U.S. presidential election, the Pope emphasized the importance of Catholics voting, stating: "One must choose the lesser of two evils... Who is the lesser evil? That woman or that man? I don’t know. Each person, based on their own conscience, must think and decide."
