Prime Minister-designate Ali Al-Zaidi sent a message of gratitude and appreciation to the leaders of the Coordination Framework after receiving their official confidence in nominating him for the position.

In his first statement following the designation, Al-Zaidi affirmed his firm determination to work with all national political forces without exception to form a strong government that responds to the urgent demands of citizens. He stressed that the top priority in the coming phase will focus on strengthening the foundations of security and stability and achieving a comprehensive developmental revival that directly impacts the daily life of Iraqis.

The newly designated premier revealed the broad outlines of his upcoming approach, noting that “the next government program will include setting precise priorities that take into account the assessment of strategic risks and the exploitation of available economic opportunities.”
