Iran’s Foreign Ministry: We want to end the war not a ceasefire.

Iran's Ministry of Foreign Affairs accused the United States of removing diplomacy from its agenda, saying that what it described as “terrorist acts” inside Iran reflect this approach.

Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmail Baghaei said the United States “places no value on the security of the region’s countries,” adding that its main concern is “preserving the existence of the Zionist entity,” as he put it.

He explained that Tehran has prepared its diplomatic response to Washington, which will be announced at the appropriate time, stressing that Iran has defined its demands based on its national interests and that its “red lines are clear.”

Baghaei emphasized that any temporary ceasefire “means paving the way for continuing the crime,” calling instead for a complete end to the war and ensuring it does not recur.

He concluded by saying that “the Isfahan operation was a scandal and a disaster for the United States,” expressing hope that Washington has learned a lesson from it.
