Iraq’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed its rejection of any attacks on Gulf states or Jordan launched from Iraqi territory, stressing that the security of these countries is part of Iraq’s own national security. The ministry added that it welcomes receiving any information related to attempted attacks so it can address them swiftly. It also expressed its commitment to strengthening regional stability and working closely with neighboring states.

In this context, Iraq condemned the joint statement issued by six Arab countries—Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Qatar, and Jordan—which denounced the attacks carried out by Iran and its supporters inside Iraq.
