Bill Clinton to appear before the U.S. House of Representatives over the Epstein case.

Bill Clinton is preparing to appear before a House committee to be questioned about his ties to Jeffrey Epstein, who was convicted of sex crimes. Clinton’s name appeared multiple times in Epstein’s documents, and he was photographed with him at social events and in private gatherings. Clinton has repeatedly stated that he had no knowledge of Epstein’s activities. Both Clinton and Hillary had previously refused to appear before the committee but agreed to testify after being threatened with contempt of Congress.

Clinton, who served as president from 1993 to 2001, was mentioned numerous times in Epstein’s files, similar to the current president, who is also 79 years old. According to U.S. media, Clinton was close to the New York financier, traveled several times on his private jet, and was photographed with him on many occasions—similar to Donald Trump.

Among the recently released photos included in millions of documents published by the Department of Justice, Clinton can be seen with Epstein at social events as well as in private sessions, sometimes alongside women whose faces were blurred for privacy.

Clinton has repeatedly insisted he was unaware of Epstein’s conduct. Epstein was convicted in 2008 of sex crimes and served an 18‑month prison sentence. When Epstein died by suicide in his jail cell in 2019 while awaiting trial, Clinton said he had not been in contact with him for more than a decade.

Hillary Clinton, the former secretary of state, also appeared before the same Republican‑led committee on Thursday to be questioned about her ties to Epstein. She stated that “the vast majority of people who had contact with him before his 2008 guilty plea… had no knowledge of what he was doing.”

The hearing for Hillary and Bill Clinton is being held at the arts center in Chappaqua, north of New York, where the couple resides. The former president and his wife initially rejected the subpoenas to testify but eventually agreed after House Republicans threatened to charge them with contempt of Congress.
