Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi affirmed that there is an opportunity for an agreed-upon and fair solution in the negotiations with the United States, which will be held on Thursday in Geneva with Omani mediation. He stressed that Iran will not abandon its right to peaceful nuclear technology and does not seek military confrontation.

At the same time, the Iranian minister noted, "We are not prepared to give up our right to the peaceful use of nuclear technology. There is no military option for resolving the peaceful nuclear issue, and we are ready to answer any questions, concerns, or ambiguities about it.”

Araghchi added that “Israel wants war and is trying to drag President Trump into a conflict with Iran,” arguing that “Trump has become a victim of fake news.” He explained, "We are not developing weapons capable of reaching the United States. We have deliberately limited the range of our missiles to 2,000 kilometers, solely for self-defense and deterrence.”

The Iranian foreign minister continued, "We learned many lessons from the previous war, which is why we are more prepared today. Our armed forces are ready to fulfill their duty, and we know how to defend ourselves as we did before. Our readiness for war is not a desire for it, but a means to prevent it. The path we have taken is the best possible route to resolving the nuclear issue.”
