Prime Minister Mohammed Shiaa Al‑Sudani received the Babylon Parliamentary Bloc along with members of the movement’s Political Bureau.

During the meeting, various national issues were discussed, including political developments and ongoing efforts to complete constitutional obligations—foremost among them the election of the President of the Republic and the formation of the new government.

His Excellency affirmed the government’s commitment to working in the service of the original Christian component, both inside and outside Iraq. He also highlighted the importance of legislative coordination among the parliamentary blocs representing this component, as such cooperation would significantly and positively impact its members at home and abroad.

For their part, the members of the Babylon Movement delegation expressed their keenness to support the work of the state and to actively participate in legal legislation that strengthens the government’s efforts in construction, reconstruction, and developmental progress.
