Israel: Four Conditions Trump Will Not Compromise in the Oman Negotiations.

Israeli media revealed that U.S. President Donald Trump is insisting on four conditions during the planned negotiations between the United States and Iran in the Sultanate of Oman. These conditions are abandoning the nuclear program, halting the development of ballistic missiles, ending support for proxies in the Middle East, and addressing the issue of protesters. Meanwhile, Iran demands that the negotiations be limited solely to its nuclear file.

The newspaper Israel Hayom quoted an informed source as saying that the talks scheduled to take place in Oman in the coming days will see firm American adherence to Trump’s four demands regarding Iran.

According to the newspaper, the four demands are abandoning the nuclear program, stopping the ballistic missile project, ending the support and funding of proxies in the Middle East, and dealing appropriately with the protesters who took part in the recent demonstrations.

In contrast, Iran insists that the negotiations focus exclusively on its nuclear program, according to Western reports.

The newspaper noted that “Trump’s goal is to build internal and external legitimacy before taking military action against Iran,” adding that “the U.S. president decided to negotiate with Tehran even though senior officials in his administration understand that Iran will not respond to the demands and believe there is no real chance of reaching an agreement.”

The White House had announced that the talks between the United States and Iran would be held this week, despite the changes requested by Tehran regarding the venue and format.

The negotiations between the United States and Iran are expected to take place in the Sultanate of Oman next Friday, after the Trump administration agreed to move them from Turkey.

The Hebrew newspaper Maariv had confirmed last Monday that Israeli military leaders held intensive talks in Washington with the U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff as part of security coordination aimed at clarifying the consequences of any potential attack on Iran, at a time when Trump is pressuring Tehran to comply with what were described as “strict” demands.
