Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said that Tehran has thwarted all conspiracies against it, and he called for involving the people in governance and authority. He stressed that peaceful protests should not be used to divide society, emphasizing that justice and stability come from the sovereignty of the people and their participation in decision‑making.

Pezeshkian said on Saturday that Tehran had succeeded in foiling all the plots woven against it in recent periods, while underscoring the need to include the public in governance.

He noted that some had attempted to exploit peaceful demonstrations to stir discord and conflict among Iranians, affirming that legitimate popular demands must not be allowed to turn into a tool for chaos or internal confrontation.

He added, in remarks carried by official Iranian media, that justice represents the core objective of the Iranian state, stressing that the path to stability lies in granting the people their true sovereignty and involving them in governance and decision‑making.

The Iranian president concluded by saying that broad popular participation serves as a safety valve in the face of internal crises and external challenges.
