Tasnim reported on Thursday that the Iranian army boosted its capabilities by acquiring 1,000 strategic drones, without disclosing their origin. Sources told the agency that “the new drones are adapted to modern threats and include categories for destruction, attack, and electronic warfare. They feature modern designs to strike specific fixed and mobile targets at sea, in the air, and on land.”

This development coincides with reports that U.S. President Donald Trump is considering options against Iran, including targeted strikes on security forces and certain leaders. Two informed American sources revealed that “Trump wants to create conditions for regime change in Iran,” according to Reuters.

A source in the Turkish Foreign Ministry stated that Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan will reaffirm Turkey’s opposition to any military intervention against Iran, stressing “the risks such a step would pose to the region and the world.” He will also emphasize that Turkey is ready to contribute to resolving current tensions through dialogue.
