The Turkish Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) announced on Sunday evening that an earthquake measuring 4.1 on the Richter scale struck Gaziantep Province in the south of the country.
According to data released by the authority, the tremor had a magnitude of 4.1, with its epicenter in the Nurdagi district of Gaziantep Province.
The data showed that the earthquake occurred at a depth of 7.82 kilometers beneath the earth’s surface.
