The Iraqi State Oil Marketing Organization (SOMO) announced that Iraq's oil exports to Jordan reached nearly 2.5 million barrels over the first 11 months of 2025.
According to the company's report, Iraq exported a total of 2,438,095 barrels of oil to Jordan during this period, averaging 304,761 barrels per month.
The report noted that Iraq continued exporting oil to Jordan until the end of June, after which the exports were halted. They resumed in October following the renewal of the memorandum of understanding between the two countries.
Under the annually renewed agreement, Jordan purchases Iraqi crude oil (Kirkuk crude) at a price based on the monthly average of Brent crude, minus $16 per barrel, to meet its domestic oil needs.
