U.S. President Donald Trump launched a sharp attack on European Union leaders, describing them as weak.
In an interview with Politico, Trump downplayed the importance of the United States’ traditional allies, criticizing their failure to control immigration and to end the war between Russia and Ukraine.
He also indicated that he would support European political candidates who align with his own vision for the continent.
