Ukrainian negotiators and envoys of U.S. President Donald Trump are holding a third day of talks in Miami on Saturday, according to a joint statement, emphasizing that any progress toward peace hinges on Russia.

The statement, published by U.S. envoy Steve Witkoff on the platform X, said, “Both parties agreed that genuine progress toward any agreement depends on Russia’s willingness to demonstrate a serious commitment to lasting peace, including taking steps toward de-escalation and halting the killing.”
