On Monday, Iran’s Foreign Ministry revealed ongoing discussions regarding an agreed-upon visit by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to Tehran.
Foreign Ministry spokesperson Nasser Kanaani stated during a press conference, “An understanding has been reached for President Erdogan to visit Tehran, but the date has not yet been finalized. Talks between the two sides are ongoing to arrange the visit.”
Media reports have indicated that Turkey has frozen the assets of 20 individuals and 18 Iranian entities linked to Iran’s nuclear program. These include the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran, Bank Sepah, several research centers, and companies in the energy and maritime transport sectors. The move reportedly follows final decisions by the United Nations Security Council against Iran.
