Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi affirmed that his country supports reaching a new nuclear agreement, provided it is “fair and balanced,” stressing Tehran’s rejection of any pressure or dictates from the American side.
In a press statement, Araghchi said, “When the U.S. administration talks about an agreement, it wants to impose its own terms,” explaining that Iran is “ready to move forward toward an agreement, but not ready to accept dictates.”
The Iranian Foreign Minister also pointed out that Tehran is “more prepared today than it was during the previous war with (Israel),” emphasizing that Iran’s position is based on the “political and field capabilities the country possesses.”
