Music, singing, and operatic melodies dominated the opening ceremony of the Grand Egyptian Museum, which represented a pivotal shift in the concept of museums—not merely as places to display artifacts, but as spaces for dialogue and cultural exchange, as emphasized by Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi in his welcoming speech.

“I begin my speech by welcoming you to the land of Egypt, the oldest country known to history. This magnificent edifice is not just a place to preserve precious antiquities but a living testament to the genius of the Egyptian people.
