Just days after being appointed as the U.S. Special Envoy to Iraq, Iraqi-American businessman Mark Savaya declared his intention to “make Iraq great again,” echoing former President Donald Trump’s iconic slogan.

Speaking to Kaldan Press, Savaya said, “I want to make Iraq great again.”

He also expressed his desire to “achieve peace and stability in the country by building strong bridges with the United States.”

Savaya affirmed, “Iraq is improving day by day, with limitless potential.”
