U.S. President Donald Trump said on Sunday, before heading to Israel—where he will deliver a speech at the Knesset—and to Egypt to participate in the “Sharm El-Sheikh Peace Summit,” that his trip to the Middle East will be “very special.”

Speaking to reporters at Andrews Air Force Base before boarding Air Force One, Trump said the trip would be “very special,” adding, “Everyone is very excited about this moment.”

He continued, “Israel, Arab, and Islamic countries are awaiting a moment of peace in Gaza… Everyone is happy because the hostages will return and the war is over.”

The U.S. President also stated that “the hostages may be released a little earlier than expected.”
