The Referees Committee of the Asian Football Confederation has decided to appoint an international Iraqi refereeing team to officiate a match in the AFC Elite Champions League.
The team will be led by international referee Zaid Thamer, who will oversee the match between Qatar’s Al Sadd and the UAE’s Sharjah.
The match is scheduled to take place in the Qatari capital, Doha, on September 30.
The officiating crew includes:
- Zaid Thamer as the main referee
- Haider Abdul Hassan as the first assistant
- Amir Dawood as the second assistant
- Muhannad Qasim as the fourth official
