Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, accused the United States of trying to subjugate his country. In remarks made on Sunday, he stated that Iran will firmly resist Washington and its demands aimed at “subjugating” the nation.
He added:
“Those who pressure the country to engage in direct negotiations with America only see appearances… This issue is unsolvable.”
Furthermore, he urged caution, saying:
“The enemy’s plan after its defeat in the 12-day war is to create a multiplicity of voices and break unity,” referring to Israel.
He continued:
“Our enemy today—the one confronting us—is the Zionist regime. It is the most detested regime in the world, the most hated government globally. Nations loathe this Zionist entity and reject it, and even governments condemn it.”
Khamenei concluded by saying:
“The crimes committed today by the leaders of the Zionist entity are unprecedented in history.”
