U.S. President Donald Trump affirmed that he wants to end the war in Ukraine, describing it as the most difficult conflict he is working to resolve.

In press statements regarding his upcoming meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, Trump said, “Putin will reach an agreement on a (peace deal) in Ukraine.”

Prior to that, U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio stated that “President Trump wants to see whether peace can be achieved through his talks with Putin,” expressing optimism about tomorrow’s discussions by saying, “It’s up to Ukraine and Russia to agree on achieving peace.”
