Avichay Adraee announced via his personal account on X that he visited Mount Hermon and areas in southern Syria, where the Israeli Defense Forces are conducting defensive operations to stabilize the border and prevent dangerous weapons and equipment from falling into extremist hands.

He highlighted the role of the Mountain Brigade, which was formed last year to secure the borders between Israel, Syria, and Lebanon—an area that had previously served as a central smuggling corridor.

Adraee added that the Israeli Defense Forces will continue operating with strength and determination to uncover, thwart, and destroy any threats that may pose a danger to the citizens of the State of Israel.
