25 Countries Issue Joint Statement on Gaza: The War Must End Immediately.

On Monday, 25 countries called for an immediate end to the war in Gaza, stressing that Israel’s current aid delivery system is “dangerous” and deprives Gaza’s residents of their human dignity.

Foreign ministers of the UK, France, Italy, Japan, Australia, Canada, Denmark, and other nations said in a joint statement:

> “We, the undersigned, are sending a clear and urgent message: the war in Gaza must end now.”

They added:

“We are prepared to take further measures to support an immediate ceasefire and help establish a political path that ensures security and peace for both Israelis and Palestinians and the region as a whole.”

The statement highlighted that “more than 800 Palestinians were killed while trying to access humanitarian aid” and condemned the “disorganized aid distribution and brutal killing of civilians.”

Most of the victims were reportedly killed near facilities of the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation, which was assigned by Israel—backed by the United States—to distribute aid through a UN-led network.

The foundation uses American private security and logistics companies to deliver supplies into Gaza, largely bypassing a UN-administered system that Israel claims was exploited by Hamas to seize aid shipments meant for civilians.

The United Nations described the foundation's model as unsafe and in violation of humanitarian neutrality standards—allegations the foundation denies.
