President of the Republic Dr. Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid received a telegram of condolence from the President of the Russian Federation, Mr. Vladimir Putin, expressing his sympathy for the victims of the tragic fire at the Wasit Governorate hypermarket.

The Russian president conveyed his heartfelt condolences and solidarity to President Rashid, the Iraqi people, and the families of the victims, wishing a speedy recovery for the injured.

Additionally, President Rashid received a condolence message from Egyptian Member of Parliament Atef Al-Maghawry, head of the parliamentary bloc of the Tagammu Party, founding member of the Arab Peace Group, and participant in the First Conference for Arab-Kurdish Cultural Dialogue.

Al-Maghawry extended his sincere sympathies to the President, the bereaved families, and the Iraqi people, praying for mercy and forgiveness for the victims and a swift recovery for those injured, hoping they safely return to their loved ones.
