Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia' Al Sudani affirmed on Saturday that there is no Iranian management of Iraq’s internal affairs.

In a press interview, Sudani stated, “There is no Iranian administration of Iraqi affairs—not even partially.

He added that “there cannot be a ready-made formula for the countries of the region to achieve stability and lasting peace.

Regarding the possibility of a deal between Iran and the United States, Sudani said, “Our impression from meetings with the Iranians is that they have a desire to reach an agreement.

He also pointed to “his government's success in reducing corruption.
