The U.S. State Department has issued a travel warning to its citizens regarding travel to Iran while also addressing issues concerning Palestine and Ukraine.
Department spokesperson Tammy Bruce stated during a press conference:
We have imposed sanctions on the UN Special Rapporteur on Palestine for targeting American companies."
She added:
"We urge our citizens to avoid traveling to Iran, especially those with dual citizenship."
Bruce continued:
"The State Department's restructuring plan has come into effect," explaining that "the size of the department has grown unchecked, and some employees belong to the Cold War era."
She pointed out:
"President Trump is frustrated with the lack of progress in peace talks related to the Russia-Ukraine war."
And she noted:
"We are seeking a solution that leads to a ceasefire and lasting peace in the Middle East."
