The newspaper Israel Hayom revealed on Friday that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has reached an agreement with U.S. President Donald Trump to end the war in Gaza within two weeks.

According to the report, the agreement is conditional on several factors, including the release of all 50 hostages held in Gaza and the expulsion of the remaining Hamas leadership from the territory.

The agreement stipulates that hostilities in Gaza will cease within two weeks, with conditions for ending the war including the administration of Gaza by four Arab countries—among them Egypt and the UAE—to replace Hamas.

The report also notes that other principles of the agreement include allowing several countries around the world to absorb Gaza residents who wish to emigrate and expanding peace agreements to include additional Arab and Islamic nations.

According to the newspaper, Israel is likely to show willingness for a future resolution to the conflict with the Palestinians, while the U.S. would recognize a certain degree of Israeli sovereignty in the West Bank.

The newspaper cited sources stating that reaching an agreement that includes ending the war and releasing the hostages is the most difficult challenge. It also mentioned that "on the eve of the war with Iran, Netanyahu presented a slightly more flexible proposal than his previous positions, but Hamas has yet to respond."
