Iran has called on the United States to pay compensation for the damage done to its facilities, stating that it will file a complaint with the United Nations on the matter.
Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Khatibzadeh said on Wednesday:
"Iran has stated in exchanged messages that it cannot enter negotiations with the United States until these assaults cease and the aggressor accepts responsibility.
He added, "Washington must pay compensation for the damages done to Iran’s facilities, and Tehran will file a complaint with the United Nations accordingly.
He continued, "We had no written agreement with the Zionist entity that included any terms—what occurred was simply a halt in aggression by the Zionists, and in return, Iran, while remaining on full alert, will not carry out any attacks.
