U.S. President Donald Trump said on Sunday that Iran now faces two options— “peace “or tragedy”—in” his first remarks following the airstrikes targeting Iranian nuclear facilities. He affirmed that the U.S. will continue to strike additional sites if Tehran does not move toward peace.
Speaking from the White House alongside Vice President J.D. Vance, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, and Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, Trump stated, “Tonight was the most complex in terms of the nature of the targets.
He added, “The American strikes completely destroyed the Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan facilities, aiming to eliminate Iran’s uranium enrichment capability and prevent any nuclear threat.
Trump emphasized that the United States “still has an extensive list of targets” and warned that “the next strikes will be much larger if Iran does not choose peace.
He concluded, “I worked as one team with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
